The most awaited version of Wordpress that is Wordpress 2.8 “Baker” is finally available for download. Although the latest version 2.8 visually feels a lot like 2.7 but it has lots of imprvements to themes, widgets, taxonomies and overall speed that you will feel when you dig into it. They have also fixed over 790 bugs in it.

The best thing that I like in the new version is that its faster to use. Now you can browse the entire theme directory and install a theme easily from your Wordpress dashboard.
